Salt is a well known staple in a Witches Apothecary, I have shared how I make my Banishing Salt and it is a ritual I love to create over and over each time the Moon is waning.
But as a Witch, I crave the feeling of balance in my magickal work, with my spellcasting and crafting I follow the Moon phases, so when the Moon is new I like to give plain old salt (called for in many spells) a magickal makeover.
You can make this Blessing salt at any time of the year if you like, start to create yours just after the new Moon and the days leading up to when the Moon is full, this is the waxing period when the Moon is growing and all magickal work at this time brings in positive energy.
What you will need;
☆Salt, I like to use a mixture of muggle Salt (aka table salt) and natural rock Salt. A few good table spoons full.
☆Two or three Dandelion seed heads, you know the fluffy stuff we blow into the sky with all our wishes.
☆4 leaf clovers, dried.. If you have never found any get outside and look down, I promise you they are there and if you find one keep looking you will find more. If you cannot find one that's ok you can use dried clover flowers.
☆13 Dried Chamomile flowers.
☆13 Dried Jasmine buds.
☆Cinnamon, either some powdered or you can crumble up some bark.
☆Any other herbs you feel drawn to use (this is your creation, so do what you want).
☆Most importantly, dried eggshells! Just save your eggshells when cooking, wash them out and dry them on your kitchen windowsill for a day or two.
Add all of these to a large Mortar and Pestle and start to crush everything up, this may take a little time so put on some music that makes you feel magickal, peace filled and happy... This Salt will be used for blessings so you want all the good vibes to flow.
Once all the bigger bits have been crushed down you can begin to grind it all up in a circular motion.
Remember circles are magickal and each stirring or grinding direction has meaning! For our Blessing Salt we will want to stir anti-clockwise as for us in the Southern Hemisphere anti-clockwise is SUNWISE . If you are living in the Northern Hemisphere, you will stir clockwise for SUNWISE.
Use your imagination and visualize all the positive energy from the universe flowing into your Enchanted Salt creation as you stir. Invite any Deity you connect with to bless your concoction. Feel the energy in your feet and send that energy down to connect with mother Earth, asking for her blessings as well. Ask your spirit guides, creature teachers or ancestors in spirit to bless your mixture as well (you can just choose whatever energy you are connecting with at the time). Also thank them for their magickal input.
Grind and stir around and around as much as you like, you can leave your Salt chunky if you prefer or you can keep grinding to get a finer texture. Anything that is not grinding down like Clover stems or larger chunky bits of cinnamon bark, you can discard.
Now take up your Wand and draw a Sunwise circle over the top and finish off with a pentacle to bring in the elements Earth, Air, Fire and Water and the added power of the sacred circle to finish this magickal concoction!
Spoon your salt into a glass jar or bottle and pop on a top.
Label your concoction Blessing Salt or Enchanted Blessing Salt or whatever you like and use it liberally for bringing in blessings and harmony in your home! Bless everything with your Salt! Pack small vials and gift it to your friends and family, share with them how you made it and how they can use it too. Use it in all your manifestiation Spells!

Working when the Moon is NEW and WAXING as her energy begins to grow;
☆ Sprinkle this Enchanted Salt around your front door to invite blessings into your home.
☆Put a little scoop in your mail box to hear good news.
☆Add some to a charm bag or dream pillow for sweet dreams and a peaceful nights sleep.
☆Add to abundance Spells, Love Spells and ALL of your positive manifestations will have a power boost with a pinch of this Blessing Salt!
